That SPIDER-MAN was my first issue ever. The DAREDEVIL, too. I read the ACTION and ADVENTURE at my friend Timmy's house (his copies). I remember reading the Batman 80 Page Giant in the back seat of our car in a grocery store parking lot while my parents shopped. I wrote my first ever letter to a comic book--or anywhere else--to that issue of GREEN LANTERN (dictated to my mother). I bought the SUPER HEROES VS. SUPER VILLAINS at a drugstore where my mother and I were shopping on a Saturday afternoon and the TEEN TITANS at Woolworth on a Friday night. Funny how you remember so much inconsequential stuff from such a young age but the rest all fades.
